There are plenty of cafes and fast-food places lining the bazaar, and most hotels have attached
restaurants.
Imperial Stores at the far end of Main Rd. was once victualler to the Raj and now turn
out pizza, toasted sandwiches, burgers and other snacks.
Poonam at shere Punjab Hotel on main Rd was good non-veg food.
Hotel RajMahal furthur up the road, serve thalis on an open-air terrace overlooking the bazaar.
Meghgoot, also on Dr. Sabane Rd, is popular for Gujarati, Mughlai and Chinese dishes.
Veena Restaurant at the Holiday resort does good non-veg dishes at reasonable prices and beers are available.
Mahabaleshwar is famous for its amazing variety of berries, which you can buy fresh (in season)
or in juice, ice cream and jams. Chikki, that rock-hard conglomeration of nuts and gur
suger, is
also popular here.
